At the beginning of the OOC week, a player may pick one of the following Projects to work on:
- Crafting is the construction of a good or building. To begin crafting, you must have at least 1 required ingredient, and fulfill any other prerequisites (tools, Skills, etc). The Challenge Clock for a good or building is provided with the recipe.
- Reputation is the general measure of a character’s notoriety in the setting. It is typically only relevant to roleplay encounters, but can influence the outcome of social Projects or Challenge Clocks. A character’s Reputation is public knowledge and known to everyone.
- Recovery is the healing of a Major Wound into a Scar, or the removal of a Disease. To begin healing a Major Wound, you need Medicine. The Challenge Clock is based on the overkill amount that inflicted the Wound, each tier is equivalent to another segment and the DC equal to the overkill amount itself.
- Journey is reserved for longer travels. Please see the Journey segment of the rules.
- Thievery is the act of stealing from another character or burglary. This requires direct GM oversight.
- Pitched battles are special mass-scale combats which take place between two opposing armies, rather than a small handful of characters.
- Misc. is reserved for particular projects that a GM wishes to have a player pursue. Examples of this could include researching a hefty tome, experimenting to reverse engineer a decoction, or gathering rumors.
At the end of the OOC week (typically Sunday), a player can attempt a roll, using the Skill Score listed, against the Challenge Clock. If the character would be able to skip all segments, they still must wait for when the first roll would have occurred.
The rolls made as part of a Project cannot be Pushed or gain Advantage (#).
